ABOUT US

In 2018 we felt God calling us to the mission field in Rwanda so we prayed and prepared and then in 2019 we sold everything and took our youngest three kids (young teens at the time) to live in Rwanda. Our plan was to help remote families become more self sufficient so they could keep themselves out of the poverty cycle. We did our research and were confident that we could help them learn chicken and rabbit husbandry as well as successive agriculture. We were there for nearly a year when covid hit and we were forced to come back to Canada. It was a traumatic transition home but in 2021 we decided to purchase a little acreage and put all of our knowledge to the test for our family. I really had no idea how incredible chickens are. Their personalities had me hooked in no time and we went from a little 75 year old coop to 4 coops with multiple breeding pens in each. Beautiful birds and coloured egg genetics sealed the deal and set my path forward. We are so happy to share our abundance with our community and everyone who loves chickens as much as we do.
